These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at apktaya.ph, together with all pages, listings, and content published on it (“the Site”). The Site is operated by ApkTaya.ph (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

By using the Site you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and that you will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

2. What the Site is

ApkTaya.ph is an independent editorial directory of Android applications. We publish descriptions, version information, technical requirements, and commentary. Where an application is available from Google Play or from the developer’s own website, we link to that source.

We are an information service. We are not an app developer, a distributor, a reseller, or an agent of any developer. Nothing on the Site constitutes professional, technical, security, financial, or legal advice, and you should not treat it as such.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice, including removing listings or discontinuing the Site entirely.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use the Site to do any of the following:

• •Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, hateful, or that incites violence or discrimination.
• •Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
• •Post spam, chain messages, or unsolicited commercial content.
• •Scrape, crawl, mirror, or systematically extract content from the Site by automated means without our written permission.
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system, or interfere with its normal operation.

Certain conduct described above may constitute an offence under the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175) and other Philippine laws. We may report suspected offences to the appropriate authorities.

4. Comments and user content

Opinions expressed in comments are those of the individual commenter and do not represent ours.

5. Intellectual property

The written content, layout, design, graphics, and compilation of material on the Site are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected under the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 8293) and applicable international treaties.

You may read, share, and quote short extracts of our content with clear attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not republish substantial portions, reproduce our content in bulk, or present it as your own.

Android, Google Play, and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. All application names, icons, logos, screenshots, and trademarks referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners, used for identification and editorial purposes only, and their appearance does not imply endorsement of ApkTaya.ph.

6. Third-party links and downloads

The Site contains links to websites and services operated by third parties, including Google Play and developers’ own sites. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not control those destinations, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or privacy practices.

Any software you obtain from a third party is supplied under that party’s terms, not ours. Installing software from outside the Google Play Store carries real risk, including malware distributed through repackaged files. You do so entirely at your own risk and are responsible for verifying the source. Our full position is set out in the Disclaimer.

7. No warranty

The Site and everything on it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We take reasonable care to keep listings accurate and current, but we do not warrant that content is complete, correct, or up to date. Version numbers, file sizes, requirements, and features change frequently and without notice. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors or harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, device damage, malware infection, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of the Site or of any third-party software or website reached through it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ApkTaya.ph and its operators against any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of the rights of a third party.

10. Suspension of access

We may restrict or block your access to the Site, without notice and at our sole discretion, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms. Provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, indemnity, and governing law survive any such termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Electronic Commerce Act of 2000 (Republic Act No. 8792), without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Philippines.

12. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder shall continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a revision means you accept the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
